Lead Safe DC is an established community organization that provides lead poisoning prevention and healthy homes education to DC families with young children. We are currently organizing community workshops to get the word out on lead poisoning and how it can be prevented. DC has a 90% old home stock, making lead poisoning a real and current health concern for young children and pregnant woman. We would love to talk to the Petworth community :)
