If you have a spare room in your home, some free time on your hands (or can make time!), and want to help make a difference in some animals' lives, please consider fostering for the Washington Humane Society
We are always looking for new fosters, both short-term and longer to help with our nursing moms with kittens, orphaned kittens, and cats who have special needs, to make more room in our adoption centers. During this time of year, dubbed "kitten season", we have a large number of orphans coming into our centers and we need your help.
Learn how to get started as a foster volunteer by attending a one-hour Cat Foster Orientation on Tuesday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m at the GA ave. shelter located at 7315 Georgia Avenue NW To RSVP and for the training location, please email: aburgess@washhumane.org.
To learn more about our cat foster program, please contact Alyson at aburgess@washhumane.org.
Thank you for your support!
