In the process of moving from the area, I have been going through stuff and getting rid of a lot of things. I have several years worth of Juxtapoz Magazine (monthly contemporary art mag) that I feel weird about throwing in the recycling bin. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about where I might be able to donate them, like to a school or a library. All suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know how things work as far as school/library donation, but you could probably find an eager taker on Freecycle DC - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/... - or the Craigslist free section.
I think Goodwill takes magazines, but I'm not positive.

You could also try an assisted living facility/senior center or something similar. Even summer day camps that need art project stuff.
Freecycle is great though you do have to have a yahoo account. I love it b/c people come to you rather than having to haul it yourself (:
A local listserv might work too!
