    Great Wall in Logan Circle. Best in the city, IMO. Stick to the MaLa menu and a few choice items on the regular menu.

      1 for Great Wall, but I'd say Sichuan Pavilion on 18th and K is better. I lived in Beijing for about four years, if that's worth anything. Try the La Zi Ji Ding (fried chicken in dried spicy peppers).

    China Wonder in Shaw, not exactly romantic, it's a carry out, but it's the best chinese I've had in DC, and possibly the region, in my 20 years here.
