Indoor engagement photo locations

We're supposed to be taking engagement photos on Sunday late afternoon, and right now the weather is looking less than conducive to an outdoor session (we'd been hoping to do the shoot in Yards Park). Any ideas on where we could go for indoor (or at least out of the rain) shots? The session doesn't start until 5 pm, so most museums are out.
A few places we've thought of so far:
Arena Stage (can't find photo policy on their website, so we might try it)
National Portrait Gallery / Smithsonian American Art Musuem (perhaps in the Kogod Courtyard or Great Hall on 3rd floor)
Various memorials (Lincoln, Jefferson, etc. - although they might be hard to get to if it is raining hard)
Gaylord National Harbor (ruled this out - they don't allow photos unless you are getting married there)

Union Station might be good.  Also, you could try the Hotel Monaco downtown.  It has great architecture.  I'm not sure if they'd let you do it if you asked, but if you just walk in like you belong there and go into the hotel section that has awesome hallways and spiral staircases to take a few pictures, I doubt anyone would stop you.

We had our shots done during winter in 2010 and we did some outside but inside union. The main hall has a great ceiling and that area isn't under construction right now.

We did ours at Union Station as well and while they came out really great, I do remember getting hassled by some security staff. Just something to keep in mind.

Union Station is under major constuction, but there are probably some cool shots to be had there. How about the national building museum? That weird abandoned "mall" in georgetown? Maybe the inside part of eastern market?

We ended up at the Smithsonian American Art Museum / National Portrait Gallery. We got lots of great shots in the Great Hall, modern art section, the outdoor balcony, and the indoor courtyard.
