My neighbor in Mt. Pleasant recently had an emergency appendectomy and hasn't been able to work at his hourly job for three weeks.  He will be able to return to work on September 4, but he still has to pay his rent and he was only able to work for one week this month.  Friends have been helping with groceries, transportation, etc, but he has to pay his rent by the 5th of September.  I'm reaching out to others in the community to help me help him pay his rent.  If you would like to make a contribution, you can PayPal a donation to jelpjorge@gmail.com.  If you don't have PayPal, but would still like to help, just let me know and I will provide you with an alternative method to contribute.   Thank you!
